16-19 Bursary

The Post 16 Bursary Policy sets out how we award the 16-19 Bursary, which helps 16- to 19-year-olds continue in full-time education where they might otherwise struggle for financial reasons.

The bursary is made up of two parts: a bursary of up to £1,200 a year, which is allocated to the most vulnerable young people; and a discretionary fund for schools, academies and colleges to distribute.

Students who believe they fit the criteria to make an application can download an application form here and email it to enquiries@p16worksop.outwood.com.  You can also collect a paper copy of the application form from the Learning Managers or Post 16 Reception.
Students can submit an application at any point during the academic year as their financial/home situation dictates.
